2025 has been a brilliant year for the IPS Capital team, with many important developments happening within our business. Taking stock as the year draws to a close, we wanted to share our highlights with you.
We are now Chartered by the CISI
This year, our firm was awarded Chartered status by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI). What’s more, a great number of our wealth planners, investment managers, and partners are individually Chartered by the CISI, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
IPS formed a partnership with PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide
One of our core values is “being passionate about helping people”. This year, we formed an important partnership with PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.
Suicide remains the biggest killer of people under 35 in the UK. PAPYRUS is a national charity working to reduce the number of young people who die by suicide, offering the support they need in times of crisis.
One of their core services is the HOPELINE247 phone line, offering a listening ear to those who feel they have nowhere left to turn.
We are working on some exciting fundraising initiatives to support this charity and the vital work they do across the UK.
Our team was nominated for several prestigious awards
Women in Finance
Our Head of Wealth, Anne McClean and Wealth Planner, Lucy Chahil, were shortlisted for Professional Adviser’s Women in Finance Awards 2025.
Anne, who is an IPS Partner, was shortlisted for Retirement Adviser of the Year. Additionally, Lucy was shortlisted for Financial Adviser of the Year London and Woman of the Year – Vulnerable Client Care.
These are highly competitive accolades and we congratulate Anne and Lucy for being selected from a pool of talented women in our sector.
Magic Circle
Partner and Investment Manager, Simon Moriarty, was this year nominated for a Citywealth Magic Circle Award. These awards highlight the best of the best in firms catering to ultra-high-net-worth clients and Simon has deservedly been recognised for his work.
Moneyfacts
Our firm was nominated for Tax and Estate Planner of the Year at the Moneyfacts Investment Life and Pensions Awards 2025. This awarding body assesses firms nationally, so our inclusion is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and outcome-driven approach our entire team takes.
We welcomed seven new colleagues to the IPS team
Our wealth and operations teams expanded in 2025.
Paraplanners
We welcomed three new Paraplanners to our wealth team this year: Lee Bridgewater, Joannie Grenade, and James Harvey-Gajda.
Paraplanning is an essential part of what we do. Our Paraplanners are meticulous researchers, helping the IPS Wealth Planners find suitable solutions on a bespoke level.
Wealth Planners
Nicola Horner and Minal Kotecha also joined us this year, helping us grow our wealth planning offering and enriching the team’s knowledge with their years of experience.
Operations
We recruited an Operations Analyst, Dara Madden, and an Operations Manager, Liberty Phillips.
