Introducing our charity partner, PAPYRUS

6 August, 2025

At IPS, we are dedicated to supporting positive causes and inspiring change in the wider community. That is why one of our core values is “being passionate about helping people”.

One of the primary ways we aim to demonstrate this is through our new charity partnership with PAPYRUS, a vital organisation working to support young people with mental health issues.

PAPYRUS is an organisation for the prevention of young suicide

PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is a national charity in the UK dedicated to supporting young people with mental health issues and promoting positive wellbeing.

A group of parents who had lost their children to suicide – the biggest killer of people aged 35 and under in the UK – started PAPYRUS in 1997. Since then, the charity has expanded significantly and now does vital work across the country to help young people in need.

HOPELINE247 offers a vital source of support for young people in crisis

PAPYRUS works with young people in many ways, helping them build positive habits and protect their mental wellbeing. One of the most important resources the charity offers is the HOPELINE247 phone service.

This phone line is always available for any young person who might be experiencing thoughts of suicide, or anybody worried that somebody close to them might be in crisis.

Phone line operators can discuss the situation with anybody that calls and provide a safety plan which, in many cases, can save lives.

However, running this service and training the operators comes at a considerable cost, so PAPYRUS must raise significant funds to keep the line available at all times.

This is where we come in.

Our new partnership with PAPYRUS will fund life-saving support services

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with PAPYRUS, which will help to fund life-saving support services including HOPELINE247.

IPS Capital is currently working on some exciting opportunities to raise vital funds for PAPYRUS so the charity can continue helping young people in need.

We will provide further updates on our work with PAPYRUS in the future.
